Holiday in Ludlow


The fascinating medieval town of Ludlow is famed for its culinary delights and twice yearly food festivals and has much more to offer.


A local brewery, fine restaurants, 14th century castle, racecourse, riverside walks, weekly markets, independent shops and varied architecture all add to the rich tapestry.


There is a choice of supermarkets, a leisure centre and spa a ten minute walk and the road and rail links are excellent, opening up the local area and beyond.


Once you have sampled the delights of Ludlow, there is plenty on offer in this beautiful part of Shropshire.


Ludlow is surrounded by unspoilt countryside just waiting for you to discover.


Many pretty Shropshire villages and interesting market towns are all within easy reach, including Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge and the county town of Shrewsbury.


Cycling, walking and birdwatching enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice.


There are lovely gardens to enjoy, walks along Wenlock Edge, The Clee Hills and the Long Mynd as well as visits to National Trust properties such as those at Atcham, near Shrewsbury and Dudmaston Hall, near Bridgnorth.


Steam railway enthusiasts can take a ride along the Severn Valley Railway or you can delve into our rich industrial heritage by visiting the museums which surround Ironbridge.


The Welsh Borders, Herefordshire and Worcestershire are also within an easy drive.
